Inspired by the mundane format of a receipt, this original artwork, titled The Whispers, text renders two of Halsey's songs from her mystical album, If I Can't Have Love I Want Power.

The phrase, 'You do not want this', taken from her song The Whispers, echoes the repulsion of bodily objectification.

While the text 'Ask for forgiveness, never permission, this is tradition', externalizes and narrates 'the tradition' as an hegemonic device weaponized against the female bodied.
